Newfoundland and Labrador Moose Brown Toque

The Moose has few natural predators in Newfoundland and Labrador, making this province an ideal habitat. Although the moose is not native to Newfoundland and Labrador, they were introduced to the province in 1904 to encourage hunting that would help develop the province. Today the large animals stand as a symbol of Canada.

The capital of Newfoundland and Labrador is St. John’s, and the population in 2019 was 521,542.
